Let’s talk :  beauty

As a Sex worker influencer, I’m often perceived as having that “lucky with the looks” impression, and while I understand the process in which one may have come to this conclusion, it’s time I set the record straight, I have had no plastic surgery or bodily enhancements and I most likely never will, that’s My choice. I am natural. However, if someone desires to enchance their personal look through that technique such as plastic surgery, then that’s a personal choice, and we respect the choices of others.

Let’s get skin deep!

Starting with my face.

I have rules when it comes to my beauty regime.

1. Never go to sleep with make-up on. In my opinion, night-time skincare is the most important because you’re washing off the toxins from the day.

2. Hydration and lots of it.

3. Moisturizer/oil = your skins best friend.

Especially in my case when you’ve always had dry, sensitive skin. I slather a moisture mask on my face before bedtime, and if my hair needs extra help, I’ll sleep with coconut oil on my hair or a hair mask on (wrapped, of course to avoid ruining my lovely pillow) then I’ll wash it off in the morning with a shower.

4. Epsom salts/mud bathes.

I don’t know all the science behind it, but I take epsom salt baths every other night, or if I’ve completed a work-out earlier that evening. Mudbaths are on occasions.

5. When I do my skincare regime in the morning and evening, I typically extend products I use on the face, to the neck and upper chest, and I do this because these parts are just as visible as the face, something a beautician suggested in my early 20’s, it stayed with me.

6. I stretch daily, and I do 15-30mins of leg and arm exercises, whenever I get that mid day burst of energy. Yoga = whenever time permits.

7. I avoid too much sun, and I use a good sunblock, spf 30+ or more if I’m out all day.

What I avoided : harsh chemicals or skin peels on my face before the age of 16 (it is very important not to use abrasive products when your skin is still growing). I tested out a few products that worked best for me, and since then, I’ve stuck with it, yes I had to change a few products to better suit my skincare needs over the years, but we all need extra help sometimes:)

I also avoided harsh substances and still do.

These are some of the skin care products I use and love because they work for my skin.

Paula’s choice and clear. (for occasional flair ups), dermatalogica (sensitive skin), origins (for masks and toners), IT cosmetics for facial moisturizer.

I also use facial oil in dry weather and cooling masks in humid/hot weather, and then I’ll end my skincare regime with an under eye cream every night.

Nothing super fancy, just patience, routine, and products that work best for my specific skin care needs.

Makeup? I live for deluxe samples! I used to have around 4-5 active beauty subscription boxes until the need for a new computer came around. Now, I’m saving up for a sexy new machine and enjoying my beauty loot, which is down to only one subscription a month.
